001. Resembles kiln pottery fabric. Warped. Exterior rim band (sloppy), fine tortoise-shell ripple (multiple brush) on upper body, bands on lower body. Interior rim band, running spirals on upper body, foliate band of short stubby leaves on lower body, large and irregular spiral on base. Sloppily painted in very dark grayish brown to dilute reddish yellow. Exterior and interior polished after decoration, causing dark paint to smear.
